Robert HimmistHi I'm Rob Himmist from Fremont California and I own a nice 1978 KZ650B. I have owned it since 1979 and have done alot of modifications to it cosmetically and performance wise. If I can list some of the mods I'd appreciate it. I began by chroming a bunch of parts, swingarm, headlight cover, kick stand etc. I replaced the ignition points with a Martek Infra red timing setup, as well as the coils to martek hipo's. Next came a kerker 4 into 1 header with a carb rejet. The filters are alphabet that I rescued from Canada. After the performance mods I installed a step seat from an LTD 1000 along with the front and rear fenders. Shocks were replaced with Mulholland brand. Lastly I put on drag bars since My arms and legs are longer, it improved the riding position for me. As much as I love this bike, I still want something Bigger that I can ride for longer distances. My licence Plate reads "Kawick", and It is for a 650cc mid size bike. Rob |
